....it was the best trip to the Mara I've had. We left everything up to Amazing Africa to organise from leaving Nairobi to our return and they did a spectacular job. Our stay Govenors Camp was amazing, from the hippo's wondering around while we had dinner, to the excellent service. The game drives gave us breathtaking views of the Mara and its wildlife. The highlight of the trip was a balloon safari over the Mara. We couldn't have imagined a better holiday and the fact that it all went smoothly and without fault is entirely due to Amazing Africa.

My husband and I booked our first trip to Kenya through Amazing Africa Safaris and would do the same for any future trip to Africa. The planning was impeccable, from start to finish. We began with 2 days in Nairobi to settle down after the long journey from Seattle. Then we started our safari trip in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy at Kicheche Camp. It is a smaller, eco-friendly camp and the perfect choice for safari novices like us. The guides we had were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the most basic information up to the more detailed. The tents are luxurious, the food outstanding and the staff is warm and accommodating.
Our next stop was Governor’s Camp in the Mara. We loved our stay here and saw an incredible amount of game, including a crossing of approximately 10,000 wildebeest – incredible experience!! And to finish off our amazing trip, we spent three luxurious days at the iconic Giraffe Manor. We will never forget the candlelight dinner on our anniversary, with a full moon and giraffe walking quietly in the background.
Phera, at Amazing Africa Safaris orchestrated so many special moments, including private Sundowners at an incredible riverside location, a special dessert presented to us at Governor’s Camp, and a beautiful welcome gift awaiting us at Giraffe Manor.
