KICHECHE BUSH CAMP
Kicheche Bush Camp is a small, classic, intimate, luxury tented camp completely unfenced, amongst stunning whistling thorn acacias. The ultra low-impact spread of six guests tents in the trees and low escarpment beyond, provide the perfect hideaway in this outstanding wilderness.
MARA PLAINS CAMP
It’s an adventurer’s paradise, setting the bar high for safari lodges in East Africa and taking the eco-sensitive safari experience up a notch. The Camp is a small and private luxury tented camp in the Olare Motogori Conservancy, on the northern border of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It is an area rich in wildlife, and is particularly good for predators. Only seven under canvas tents mean guests have a highly-personal experience—the tents are even equipped with professional Canon 7D camera with various lenses and Swarovski 42×10 HD binoculars to ensure guests get that perfect shot wildlife shot.
MARA TOTO CAMP
Mara Toto Camp is the little sister of Mara Plains Camp. Its name is fitting as “toto” means “baby” in Swahili. Located a few kilometers from Mara Plains, Mara Toto has been built on a small bend in the Ntiakitiak River, where a thick riverine forest meets the unending savannah in the north-central section of the Maasai Mara. It’s a perfect hideout for this small, intimate camp, which has been constructed in the spirit of mobility and non-permanence out of deference to the wilderness, which surrounds it.
The first conservancy in the Mara ecosystem, Olare Motorogi was formed in 2006 with 277 Masai landowners. The pristine 32,000 acres conservancy comprises of prime grasslands, riverine forests and acacia woodlands. The pioneering Olare Motorogi Conservancy offers one of the highest quality, lowest traffic safari experiences in the region. With a maximum of 94 beds in five mobile camps, the conservancy has a ratio of one game-viewing vehicle for every 2,100 acres, a move that is aimed at maximizing the client wilderness experience and minimizing the environmental impact of tourism.
